As for your chart:

Gotta say, I mostly agree. Plus, let's not forget that we are here to debate. Not so much "save." This is the Chatterbox.

So are any of the Athiests here former Christians?

I used to be Protestant, but as I kept with my faith, I slowly realized everything is BS

There is no commandment, "Thou shall not try to predict the end of the world". Sorry. As a matter of fact, Jesus told us that no one knows the day nor hour (of Christs return) but He did say "you can know the season" or about the time these things will take place.

Furthermore the Bible does not state the world will end. What will end is man's obsession with screwing it up! Jesus will rule the Earth for 1000 years! I personally can't wait.

Actually, there is a commandment you would be breaking. By trying to predict the end of times which we all know only God can know, you are trying to be God. So if you know only God knows, then predicting it would be breaking the first commandment! And also, The Bible says after the war vs. good and evil, the judgement day will come and in that our world full of sin and blasphemy will be destroyed, and a new heaven and a new earth will be created for all of God's followers; never to be ridden of sin again.

He told us what to look for, "there will be earthquakes in various places", "there will be wars and rumor of war", "there will be famine and pestilence". Now why would Jesus tell us these things? So we can know that the time is at hand! "Learn the lesson from the fig tree".

"When you see these things begin to happen, do not be afraid, the end is not yet." Obviously Jesus wanted us to heed his words so that we wouldn't enter into the last days, never having looked at the "signs" and be caught totally off guard.

Is this the vaguest prophecy ever? And Jesus said 'there will be storms, and sunny spells, and the leaves will turn brown and fall from the trees.' Come on dude.

I was christian for a few weeks when I was 15 or 16. Then went to "who cares", over the years to "we can't know for sure", to "most likely not".

Former Lutheran  .

I refuse to confirm, and it was a county-wide scandal.

For the clan name, I've heard this said in movies, often by Crusaders. "Godless Heathans"

Your chart is flawed. "Non-religious" = Atheist.

As for the numbers...

Actually Atheists have problems and are trying to convert(or de-convert) Christians, while non-believers don't even care about it.

AGAIN CYPRESS333, stop lumping Atheist into a group, you're gonna offend me. I'm not lumping Christians together.

Yes, but if I die during the tribulation which is very likely, when Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation the saints will come with Him. Jesus will reign for 1000 years and all those who have died in Christ will be there too.(as well as those believers who survive the tribulation)

And the "war of good vs. evil" that's what this actually is. "We fight not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities". Satan (Antichrist) will, during the tribulation, insist that all men worship him, and if they don't, they will be put to death. Take his "mark" and you have chosen....to side with him and against God. It will be trying time as without his "mark" you will not be able to buy nor sell. Under any circumstances, DO NOT take the mark! Physical death is far better than a spiritual one.

Can't you just be happy with your little club without having to bother the rest of the planet?

Someone should have "saved" you guys from drinking the Kool-Aid.

Okay, it seems as though it is just the ATHEISTS that have problems with Christianity, (aside from some radicals in the world) and I'd like to look at some percentages:

Image

hmmm...33% christians, 2% Atheists. I dont see how we could bother the rest of the planet, when only about 3% has problems with us (A poll shows only about 1% of Muslims actually have a problem with Christians-Radicals.)

Laughable to believe that only 1 person in 50 is Atheist but leaving that aside I dont have any problems with Christians ( the proper ones not the Fundamentalist loonies ) but I do have problems when somebody arrogantly believes I want saving from something I neither believe in or care about.

Those few weeks I mentioned before were directly after being confirmed. One (or was it two? It's all so long ago) week of being told there's a god does wonders for your religious faith.

And thanks kage.

You poke fun. Not even knowing what you do. The two are polar opposites. Where God wants you to serve him but He will not make you.(even though "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord") Satan, during the tribulation, will make all men worship him or be put to death. Satan desires to be god. He doesn't love anybody. God does.

Huh? Convert to what exactly? Is this what Mommy, Daddy or the Preacher Man told you?

Atheism is not a religion. It is simply a description like "Blonde" or "SKinny". It simply means you don't believe in gods...any of them. Thats all. Nothing more.

No "conversions", no church, no bibles, no gods, no demons, no magical miracles, no rituals, we don't "fellowship" or even get together usually...that would be too much like a religion. Oh...and we sleep in on Sunday mornings. ;)
