It doesn't quite fit on my placard, but screw it! Let's march!

You crack me up  Sorry Luns, I'm putting that in my sig

As for the poll, I disagree with the options, therefore I didn't vote.

Not going to vote. Why? Because no matter how you look at it, it is an insult (or attempted at least) towards those that believe in God.

What a low blow poll!

Do you really expect anybody to seriously answer this poll in the "No" option? Unless they're of some terribly, "god"-believeing religion...

This is outrageous!

Yes amazing as it seems certain people seem to think Shariah law sets a fine example.

Or, one can be a narrow minded idiot if they can only think in such extremes and automatically assume that those that believe in a higher being are truly as simple minded as this poll and the OP may suggest. And then comes up with something to try and take the blame off of their shoulders for such a rude gesture and trying to go along the lines that it was either taken out of context, was a joke, and/or "you is stupidz because you no reed write!"

That about cover it, yes?

And I somehow get the feeling that those who voted "Shariah Law" did so to seem humorous, though, without the humor.

I see nothing wrong with Shariah Law. Stoning for adultery is a bit too far for my taste (as I openly support legalisation of prostitution) but this bit is practised only in hardcore countries like Iran or Pakistan. If you look at Shariah Law in Nigeria, they administer much more civil punishments like flagellation. And this is what we need in this country against yobs as asbos dont work. And I personally see nothing wrong with cutting limbs for stealing as well :)

Look at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1029137/Former-soldier-arrested-kidnap-citizens-arrest-yob-pelted-home-eggs.html Shariah Law is better then this travesty of a justice!!!

And 14 members who refuse to acknowledge the glory of the legal system of the god emperor Caesar Agustus of Rome. ;)

Point of silly reference, the only active set ofreligious laws that are at least or over 2000 years old is the Jewish Torah. Christianity didn't exist at all until 33 CE and then again it wasn't until Constintine when they even began thinking of laws. Islam wasn't on the scene for a few centuries after Christ as well. Oh for the love of round nunmbers, the whole premise of trowing the clock back 2000 years is silly.

Or are joking about it.

I haven't said this in months but...
This thread should die.
