Certainly...

The header bit (Where you put your status messages and now the OK button) would be better if it stayed on screen.

So if you made *just* the results table scrollable - then it would be better as you can scroll the results - but still see the status...

If you're really bored - you could move the Total row to a fixed footer - and update it on the fly - and you could see your total building up with each data row collected.

Oh, thought you mean table header, sure this is no probs.

Well, can do, but the medals highlighting still won't happen till the end.
What about putting it at the top (easiest)?

Either is good for me (No problems about medals highlighting)

This is a pretty cool and good add on. Thanks!
A new version has to be downloaded every 5 minutes, but that's a good thing. ;)

Any chance to have clickable column headers to sort by that column? No biggie, just a thought.

Good work and Thanks again.

Sort options is next.

I was thinking about putting them in the menu rather than clicking on the headers but either way - any votes either way?

Column clicking seems to be a 'norm' for most programs I use that have sortable columns. It feels natural to click on a column header to sort by that column.

That being said, others may have different 'norms' or preferences, I dunno.

It's your baby so I'll take it how you make it. :)

Is Version 1.2.6 the latest? I didn't see the colored medal numbers. Also, what are the numbers in and out of the brackets? I read the first post, but don't get it?

You will see something like this: 150(24)

So I see it, but what does it MEAN? thanks...

Total Unique Defeats (Number of Maps on which you have at least five unique defeats)

He actually does explain it, but it's in a roundabout way

Cross Maps medal
Either type in player name in left menu and select all or
Go to game finder, type in name and press Map Rank at the bottom.
Once scanning has finished (the OK button goes green) the unique defeats
column will be medal coloured.
Each map with >=5 unique defeats will be coloured if you have a cross map medal.
The totals for unique defeat will have a number in the brackets.

This is the number of maps that you have defeated >=5 unique opponents.
For Cross maps medals you need 20 for bronze, 40 for silver, 60 for gold.
(This is the number in brackets and will be coloured if you have a medal)
To see how to get your next medal, you need to get more maps with >=5 in the right hand unique defeats column.

Standard medal
Go to game finder.
Type in player name.
Check Standard in the Game Type check box.
Press Map Rank
The first number in the unique defeats totals column (not in brackets)

is the number of unique opponents defeated.
For Standard medal you need this number to be 20 for bronze, 100 for silver, 400 for gold
So you can see from this number how close you are to your next medal.
The number is also coloured like the medal colour.

First off I just stumbled into this and fantastic job so far!

I like all the details but for medal purposes I think it might be easier to read in a format like this:

All map total:
Maps with >= 5 unique wins: 22 Rank: Bronze Map wins needed for next medal: 18
Terminator wins: 101 Rank: Silver Terminator games needed for next medal: 299
Assassin wins: 2 Rank: None Assassin games needed for next medal: 38
Doubles wins: 100 Rank: Silver Doubles needed for next medal: 300
Triples wins: 100 Rank: Silver Triples needed for next medal: 300
Quad wins: 100 Rank: Silver Quads needed for next medal: 300
Standard...
Speed...
Ratings...

Map: Total Plays: Total unique victories: Net point gain / loss:
Africa 42 23 +101

and so on and so forth with the maps. I think this way would make it a lot easier for the majority of the people to read and honestly this is the information I want to see to get me motivated to play some more games.

Just a suggestion, and once again outstanding work so far! I wish I knew how to program stuff like this.

Would be cool

At present you can get this information - by using the game finder to narrow your choices down... (i.e. by game type)

Yeah I know, but having a program take all the counting work away from me and presenting it in a neat easy to read form would be awesome.

First of all =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

This is amazing! Thanks for putting it out.

I'm not sure if this has been touched, I've just skimmed the thread and not read all of it, but is there any way you could make it so when it's done scanning it says "Scanning Complete" or something of the sort? It's not too big of a deal, but it does get slow at some spots, so if it showed that it would be easier to determine whether or not it's still scanning (instead of just showing 100% for the last map).

Thanks again :D

ok, when i clicked maximize/resize the window went big, but the actual stuff kept in the top, still scrollable, coming down to about halfway down the window. there is no point to the maximize option if it stays like that. :)
i don't think something is quite right: it says i am a sergeant 1st class, with 36 points till lieutenant. I am already a lieutenant! i don't think the total points are calculating quite right...
why is 8 thoughts at the top? it was at the bottom before, and is with the game finder list...
maybe have an OK button at the top and bottom? that way, someone doesn't have to scroll up after looking at the bottom to exit. it would be especially a pain for people with a lot of maps. keep it on the top though as well. just have both :D
wow... after 14 games in classic i've only started first 3 times...
thanks chip! this is a really helpful script! :D

EDIT: just so you know, i'm only sergeant 1st class now because i just lost 30 points from a game. when i did the map rank, i was still a lieutenant

go to game finder, select the game types or options you want to see, and it will show you the stats for just what you have selected.

so not as in depth, but if you just select termi games, it will show you how many unique opponents defeated as well as what maps they were on.

There's no good reason for having the medals only results in their current format so perhaps could make that one look like what you have suggested. Of course you would have to get them medal by medal... in fact I was thinking about providing direct buttons or a dropdown in the left menu (like a fast link) for medals because so many people have been asking.
