I just found the contradictions in time to be interesting in regards to what is being reported as a time line for the arson.

My feeling is that the state of Texas is going to try and draw attention away from its State sponsored kidnapping case with the FDLS cult, and finger some pro-constitution pattsy. Just like with Timothy McVeigh and Oklahoma City bombing.

I read in the Statesman that the first person to spot it was a "freelance photographer". I immediately assumed he was the culprit.

Alternately, it could have been the landlord of the $10k/mo megamansion Perry's living in during the now considerably lengthened renovations.

Yeah, this one doesn't quite pass the smell test. But I can't yet find reason enough to believe there was a cover-up of any kind.... But! Is it true that no one was watching the security cameras at the time of the fire?

The incompetence of the Department of Public Safety is a controversy that far precedes the fire. About a month ago, a minor scandal erupted when it was revealed that a DPS officer supposed to be guarding the entrance to the Texas State Capitol was watching DVDs in her "squad car". I earnestly don't expect great professional fervor out of people with such incredibly boring jobs.
