Also, Neoteny I've considered the point your trying to make and decided it's one of the dumber things I've read in a while. Have a good one.

Well now, let's see...
my mother is a virgin
I have a beard
I get around by donkey, mostly
as a keen gardener I bring peas to all mankind
Why yes! I AM the messiah. There's no other explanation. Neoteny, if you want to come and touch the hem of my cloak we can clear this whole mess up.

Jesus died because of our sins.
By definition we are all sinners.
Therefore we all killed Jesus.
It all makes perfect sense.

We killed Jesus.
Jesus died for our sins, correct? And we are lowly sinners. We killed Jesus. QED. Jesus' death was a direct response to not only sinners of his day, but us future sinners as well. So what does this mean?
After you get past the first four commandments about not being a dick to god and pretending he's not there, and right after not being a dick to your parents, the sixth commandment (depending on your version) says don't kill people. Biblical punishment for murder? Exile (to where, exactly?) and capital punishment. Yea or nay?

B. Because I wasn't there, I don't have an inherent "stain on my moral compass or soul" if you will. I am sure, absolutely positive, that somewhere along the line, an ancester of everyone killed somebody. That doesn't mean we all are murderers.
C. Wasn't Jesus killed by Jews? Thus, not really the people the commandments were meant for, making the argument that his killers should die because of the sixth commandment moot.
D. If anything I said about C was wrong, shout at me via the internet.

I'm not sure if your last statement was sarcastic but Jesus didn't die because of my sins. I hadn't committed any sins when Jesus died because his death preceded my birth by 1989 years. Are you trying to tell me that Jesus died because of my hypothetical sins?

See, it's this kind of shit that causes religious discrimination.

That's not discriminatory in any way. I'm just saying that its a different set of rules than what non-Christians would follow. Its like in the United States I don't have to follow laws that exist in countries like Japan, or Saudi Arabia, or France, because I am not Japanese, Saudi, French, etc. I'm not saying that any system of law is better than any other, I'm just saying its different for different people.

100% correct. I'm not sure how I forgot about that. That's why I should never post stuff on 3 hours sleep. Ironically, the song "Moses" has just started
playing on the radio.
