I'm not sure, but I think the card you recieve at the end of your turn is randomly selected.

yeah... the game doesn't have a simulated "card stack" in its memory. It just randomly selects a territory and a color.

But, then people would be able to figure out what card is coming up next, once they've already been gone through once.

Two people can also have a single card at the same time. Thus if you eliminate someone, you could potentially turn in a set containing the same card twice.

How can 2 people have the same card?

Take classic as an example. There are 42 cards. You get a card, it is determined randomly out of 42 possible choices. The color is then determined randomly 1 out of 3. I then get a card. The card is determined randomly out of 42. The color is then random. You get another card. It is random out of 41... and on and on.

The reason 2 people can have the same card is large games on small maps. If 8 people are playing on Doodle Earth, there are 18 territories so if everyone has three cards, then at least one card must be dealt twice anyway. So each person has cards determined from their own separate deck. You will never be given the same card twice, but you can take a card from someone else that you already have. Hypothetically you can have 3 or more of the same card.

That's weird, I never thought of that. I never play doodle earth so I didn't think of it. Damn, that would be kinda cheap though, if you turned in the same 3 cards and got 6 deployed on one spot, in addition to the armies you get to deploy.

Let's say you turn in China, Siam and Western Australia. That's 2 on each = 6, assuming you hold all three.
Now, let's say you turn in China, China, and China. That 2 for each = 6, assuming you do hold China. You don't get any extra bonus, you just get them in the same spot.

That's what I'm saying... I'm saying it's cheap because you get them all on one spot and they are more effective than getting 2 on three spots.
