Inadequate Black Male?

Postby DaGip on Sun Jun 01, 2008 8:00 pm

I think the Democratic race will be all about race and not the issues at hand! Hillary needs to unify this party so the Dems can win the election. I am a Republican, but I am not a McCain supporter. NeoCon Republicans think that Ron Paul supporters are splitting the party apart, but hell...look at what's happening to the Dems right now!

And I just listened to one of Hillary's lead campaign managers yell on CNN that Hillary's not getting a fair deal with the delegates and that Florida is doing to Hillary what Florida did to Gore back in 2000.

There is some serious issues going on in the Democratic Party and somebody needs to unify, because neither Hillary or Obama are doing it!

Hillary needs to take responsibility and drop out to unify the party! If the Dems loose it will be all her fault!

Well she technically has the right to be there until there is a definite winner. I don't blame her for not wanting to give up.

I do see how the Democrats as a whole may not get the best out of the situation, but in the end, no matter who the Democrat nominee is, people are going to vote on the views they believe in (unless they're racist, sexist, racist against whites, whatever)
Hillary and Obama are saying enough things alike that people aren't going to say "Hillary won't give up, so I'll vote McCain"

I agree 100%. Hillary and Obama have very similar views, and once the Dems figure that out, the party will unite! I believe McCain to have a bigger problem with the Ron Paul supporters, but the media is very hush about it.

Go RoN PAUL! REVOLUTION, Baby!

The Republicans are gonna get slaughtered. Its one of those times in politics - my political antenae are pretty acute and i can tell, from here in the UK ( :P ) that, if nothing else, the old "time for a change" feeling will kick in.
Of course, if I had a You Tube video, my case would be better. Dang

I don't feel that this is 100%. The part about the views, I mean. People just vote the way that they are told. Otherwise no one would vote for any of the three.

And Ron Paul could get on TV....

Some people are probably like that, but I wouldn't call it the majority. I think enough people care about their country that they don't want (another) stupid President. Because of that they may actually pay attention to issues.

Yes, people vote on who the media covers. It may not be fair, but it makes sense. Would I rather vote for someone that I've heard a lot about and agree with on most things, or something that I have a very vague idea on their views?

I do think though that a good percentage of the voting public actually look up the views of the candidates and try to know at least their basic standing.

I can't disagree more. I think that there is a difference between what a candidate says(on your TV) and what he/she does. If people honestly did do research, then there is no way any of these three would have a majority vote.

At the Tri-Lateral Commission's (collection of very rich old guys from nations all over)last meeting, It was announced to members that the last hold out candidate(Obama) had been bought. And it was announced recently that Obama asked a leader of the Builderburg Group (another group of very rich old guys, it is also a globalist group) to find him a running mate. How can anyone vote for someone who ALREADY sold out?

I don't think anyone really looks at the way the candidates really are. I think that people are more concerned about not throwing their vote away.

No, I can and I will blame her. She is continuing to repeat the "lie" about how she has won the popular vote. There is only one way she can make that claim and that is not only to include the contested states, but count the votes in that one election where she was the only candidate on the ballot but not count the votes for "none of the above" which were cast by supporters of Obama since his name wasn't on the ballot.

SHe has made such lame brain remarks, like using the assasination of Bobby Kennedy as a reason why she should stay in the race. Desperate and dillusional is what I think of her.

The Republicans are not going to get "slaughtered." New York, once an almost guarentee of a democratic win in presidental elections might go either way. I'm not saying as New York goes so goes the nation, but if the sure bet states are wobbling what does that say for the swing states?

I'm not saying she's giving good reasons to stay in.
But she can stay till the end, so why not?
She's just not the type of woman to give up.

Hey, you guys! CNN is saying that there are now rumors that Hillary will be getting out of the race soon, and will be looking at a VP spot with Obama. Obama almost HAS to have her as a VP for all the support that Hillary has been getting. No worries, the Dems will pull together in the end, and Obama will win by a freakin' landslide!

I am voting Ron Paul Kenobi...he is our only hope!

Wow, I actually hope that happens.
That way they can share their views and work together.
Not only would we have the first black President, but also the first woman vice president.
It would be a historic event.

Not that the republicans would like it....

But put together experience and good charisma, that's one powerful (hopefully fair) section of the government
