Why it's so important to spend public funds on probing Mars.

Postby 2dimes on Mon May 26, 2008 7:46 pm

I for one like diskman's and hopefully they will develop a better ipod for people that love music. Niether of those would be possible without Sony knocking off the $60 000 portable cassette tape recorder built for the lunar missions, to create the origional 'walkman'.
(not to suggest they actually went to the moon because we all know they faked that in a movie sound stage. )

You give up on exploring space, you give up on humanity.
Simple as.
There is nothing more important.

Word.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."

Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.

Anyone who believes they faked the moon landing, has I'm afraid, revoked their status as a thinking, rational human being.

But suggs, some random guy on the internet said it! Why wouldn't I accept whatever he says as the truth?

Here's a link, could be a rick roll or it might be one of those guys telling Buzz Aldren he didn't go to the moon. Pretty compelling, tough to not believe him.

That one's public domain, it should be shown to everyone in the world. There's another one I'm checking out after I wizz debunking that Sibel guy's films.

I love watching old Buzz, (dude's like 70 something) punching that whippersnapper in the gob.

Why do you think mate?

Because anyone on planet Earth who has an ounze of common sense would want to get as many miles away as humanly possible from all the bullshit and crap, we 'civilized' morons are shitting out of our collective arse's under the common name of democratic progression.

Of course if there is life up there, and a little remote control machine that we spent squadrillions on meets them, I am sure they will shake wheels with it and give us a a new energy source and a few Mars Bars to hand out in the Burma delta.
Failing that and everything else, even if we get a couple of polariods out of it, they might introduce a third sex to our world and take our minds off of war.
Don't you remember voting for space exploration and noticing your dustbins were not emptied the other day?

You try to argue your point. If you can't, then don't even bother posting to begin with...

You have to discuss the issue here if you want to.

You're right Caleb, you should go and whine in Andy's thread. It would be better for us all. You never fail to dissapoint in reaching the next level of demonstrating how brain dead you are.

You probably have a nice degree or deploma to prove how smart you are after wasting money on education.

Lol! I Invited DM out with me on the FooFighters gig in London, just for the same reason as you said that.
The Funny thing is, its all gone real silent on that front! I now think he is now afraid for my sanity. Plus the small cost in the bus ride to the gig will be nothing compared to the mental repercussions later that could last him beyond his years.
£2.50 and Chaos, hhmmm.

Small price for proper Anarchy if you ask me.

Suggs, are you absolutely sure you're NOT my unacknowledged lovechild? Whenever you reveal your actual feelings and opinions, rahter than just saying "wank, fart, knob fanny", you sound just like me [to me].

Reconsidering my sexual history, you could be my lovechild if you are less than 40 and a number of people I trusted kept big secrets from me.

We can't rely on China for all the Earth's space exploration needs.
