My 'raping' the earth claims are not in anyway exclusively an American trait (though, American's do consume more than any other country in the world) - It's a pretty universal problem where resources are being consumed at a ratio completely out of balance from what is being produced (and what can be produced)
But hey, It's your God given right to drive your pick up truck around and rip down eco-systems to build whatever the f*ck you want -
