i think if one was to take seriously any number of these constantly recurring fin de siecles (ranging from 2012, to lizards, to looting in DC this fall), then his/her time would probably be better spent than in the playing of NHAWDGs.

unless, that is, the new world order will fight wars in tabletop format, presumably between banqueting on flies and basking in the sunlight.
