I had a read back and a few of skoffin's posts don't sit well with me at the moment:

My only hesitance is that we will almost certainly lose a cop during the night, thus confirming their sanities that way. So either way tomorrow we will learn what lovo is, so it would be a complete waste if he turns up town if we lynch him.Though, there is good chance he is in scum, and the fact he has yet to come in and really defend himself is not helping him any.

Anyway, I'll unvote for now.

I think a blocker could be plausible, as there was a inventor which is in no way a common role. Although the part about GF being investigated crossed my mind too, it seems far to risky to try out this early. Typically when someone fakeclaims cop they use a real townie first so either way a townie is lost in the process, and only if it works do they then claim to have investigated scum.
I still in no way trust Clive however, but I do wonder if he'd be capable of such.

It would be nice to hear from MountainLion, he always makes good references and I have a degree of trust in him in this game so far, he said something about explaining further why ga7's continuance of suggesting there are few mafia power roles is bs and it would be interesting to hear what this is. However, ML hasn't posted in the forums for a few days , I checked though and hes in a risk game, so we know hes still around if hes still playing his board games online.


My biggest suspicions at the moment I guess are iliad and skoffin, what do others think?

Iliad needs to catch up in a big way. I was a bit suspicious of kalish early in the game, and since he's been gone so long I have no idea what to think of his role which is now Iliad's.

nag, I felt I had some leads if animo was innocent. Maybe there's still something there with ga7, but I need to re-read this thread and look it all over again now that we know animorph is scum.

Yes but that point you were only one of four people who had not a vote on a mafia member. 2 of them later revealed to be mafia themselves... the other being iliad.

Well, after babbling about the setup I'm the first surprised to see that I was wrong and mafia have power roles. Now that we saw a framer, why not the rest? The more I think about it, the more I think there's 2 scum left: why would they target Clive unless they were sure they could cancel his protection? A stupid doc doesn't explain that, so... While rereading I noticed this post btw:

I belive Clive right now, maybe the scum didn't see my claim, or didn't think much of it, but saw Clive's claim, and blocked him. I have no clue in the world why they would do that unless they have a mafia cop. That must be how they got the inventor, they chose sam as the cop target a few nights ago, found out he was inventor, and lynched him at night.

Seeing Ani completely slipped up about the framer business it's not farfetched to think that he just proved there actually is a mafia cop

-Skoffin: as pointed out by Nag she has some weird posts here and there, and she's also enough of a decent scum player to pull the kind of shit exposed above for ML's case. I find it even less likely however as she seemed more cautious than anything and did make reasoned posts against scum in both Lovo and Ani's cases.

All in all I find the first 3 way more likely to be scum, and from who we need more input.

nagerous is clear in my book for his lynch lovo suggestion on Day 2, unless he is a Mafia Usurper.

My suggestion would be, do not lynch either 'cop' tonight, we'll have Clive investigate Animo and see what he comes up with. If he gets scum we lynch Animo tomorrow, at least then we can have a 'verified' cop in our midst whether he's town or not is yet to be seen.

Looking back on this quote I think kalish may be in the clear. If kalish were a scum buddy with animorph, I don't think he would suggest this. Do you all agree?

Well this is interesting. First Ani's claim sounds ludicrous, I've never heard of such a role and I'm not sure Sierra would make ones up as this seems like a standard game so far. And the question was for 'flavour' not for elaboration on the role, it sounds as if he is panicking and looking for a way to bullshit out of it. And his not answering the question to begin with was either him skimming or an attempt at avoidance, neither good for town.
But on the off chance he is telling the truth then essentially we would have to disregard all cop investigations (or atleast be very wary with them) as that would mean there is a framer in the game.
All in all though, Clive being roleblocked is more plausible then animo being a anti-framing cop.
Ani, you need to paraphrase on your flavour.

Here animorph says Skoffin is town. I highly doubt mafia would allow themselves to be linked like this (if Skoff were mafia)...especially since their GF is already dead and animorph on thin ice since Clive's counterclaim. Also if they decide to have animorph "investigate" a townie who is a townie, that might get Skoffin on animorph's side. So what I'm saying is I think Skoffin is innocent.

militant, I'm truly sorry that your relative is in the hospital, but I have to say I am very suspicious of you in this game simply because you've added very little input. I suggest you do your part as town (if you are town), or ask for a replacement. I hate to say that though, because we've already had two replacements.

cmckinney, I suggest you involve yourself in this game as well. I won't let this day end until you (and militant) make a significant contribution.

ga7 has contributed, however now that I've narrowed it down (at least for my own eyes...I don't know if you all agree), I will have to re-read more closely what ga7, militant and cmckinney have said.
