Hm, the problem with long or extended areas, they tend to have linear game play...which is something I never enjoy.

i didn't think about that... maybe i can make ports to make it more open, or is it a bad map that will never work...

It's not the worst map idea I've ever seen. Consider enlarging your canvas of game play...instead of being exclusively Vancouver Island, how about an area like this?

A map of the region like that map solve the "Linear Problem." Just a thought.

I could try that. But would it still be able to be called 'Vancouver Island"?

I should think so, the main focus of the map would be Vancouver Island right?

I would think so, unless there is another name that would be better suited for the extended area.

If you do happen to do try a region like that, there are a lot of Ferries that run from B.C. and also to Washington State from the Island...could be an interesting part of game play.

Ya i know. i live in vancouver. :D
if i do the extended area, there would be a bonus for Mainland canada, and US!!! there would also have to be less territories on Vancouver island, because of the size, so there would only be like 3 continents on it or something. There are many ferries that just go along canada as well, like Vancouver to Nanaimo, and others. I might just do the Canada part, instead of the US part...

interesting idea

1) The text is all pixely
2) most of the mainland coast is pixely
3) Plz modify the colors on vancouver island, they are annoying with how straight their cut offs are
4) make the main land playable!
5) Plz resize the water/image so that the straight lines of the mainland/island are along the bottom

eh more later

2)would it look better if it had a black line like USA?
3)suggestions for colours? the borders can definately change.
4)it is playable!!!
5)that i will do. i just didn't really have time for it before.
