CC Web Design Contest No. 1
CC Web Design Contest No. 1
Sub-page Navigation
We are in desparate need to improve the way sub-sections of a page are displayed.
For example:
Instructions
In this section:
Overview
How To Play
Score and Ranking
Feedback
The way we show them now is so non-obvious, a friend of mine who was playing for quite a while didn't know there was a separate place for private games.
I think we should have something better, tabs over the hard rule or sub-elements in the left hand side menu. So here's an invitation for proposals:
Community webdesigners, please propose your solution by posting here or by sending me a PM. The code should be CSS-based using our colour palette and avoiding the use of JavaScript.
If we use it you'll get 6 months premuim membership and achieve an untold level of fame!

How about...

Maybe flip the tabs upside down, and then you can put the header on the top of it.
This isn't really an entry, someone feel free to steal this, and post an example.

Thanks, Tr0y.
I'm going to use the upside-down version http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/cssli ... r-tabs-ii/
I just haven't had any time for programming CC this month because of another project. But I'm wrapping it up and November & December should see some sweet CC improvements.
