I post this, obviously, because Einstein is often held up as an example of a theist scientist. But this letter, revealed today, shows he wasn't. At all.

Who thought he was a theist? He was a deist at best...was he an athiest though? I'll check it out.

My crack research indicates that Einstein's sense of humor makes it really hard to figure out what the man believed or refused to believe, so I think it's best if we all ascribe our belief system to him and be on our way.

Oh, and Hitler may not have been a strict vegetarian, but his biographers seem pretty unified in that he ate very little meat and chided those who did.
