Or.... We've got 2 cops, lol.... I could definitly see S_L putting 2 cops in this, one a 'regular' cop and one an insane/random/naive cop. I certainly won't vote a claimed cop solely based on someone else claiming cop as they are a common repeat role (in LSU's current game theres something like 6 or 7 confirmed cops lol) or one of you guys is a scum cop.

My suggestion would be, do not lynch either 'cop' tonight, we'll have Clive investigate Animo and see what he comes up with. If he gets scum we lynch Animo tomorrow, at least then we can have a 'verified' cop in our midst whether he's town or not is yet to be seen.

Well obviously that's what scum want from claiming cop, to try and find out who the real one is.

They probably have an RB or some way of making me obsolete. I was planning to try and wait til D3 to claim, so I could get 2 investigations in. I planned to claim by that point regardless, otherwise there would be too few players left and my claim wouldn't have any credibility.

I stand by my decision not to counter animo on Day 1.

I gave the idea a moment's thought, but discarded it. I don't think it's likely. Plus, animo has looked very scummy to me, looking to be told who to vote rather than leading the way, and an investigation, so conveniently, on the dead townie, who looked quite pro-town to me and I can't see him legitimatley finding him suspicious and investigating him, I think he's scum.

I have to agree with Firth on this one. Why didn't you counterclaim me? It makes more sense to counterclaim me then to not lynch him and see what he gets, he might lie about me being guilty, 'cuz I sure am not in the mafia.

hey MountainLion, don't worry I'm playing my part.. I'm not overly convinced by Clive, it seems a bit random of him to suddenly throw out the counter cop claim suddenly and then throw a vote on the guy who claimed cop yesterday when under pressure. Personally, I''m more trusting of animorph who as a noob actually described the kid he was playing and was the first to describe him too. So tell me Clive, if your the cop how in your role PM has your character been described, are you an adult? child? or are you just in fact a kindergarten bully.. please elaborate for me.

Looking at Clive's panicky claim I don't feel convinced. Especially since he didn't believe animorph was a cop (as he votes him now right away) and was supposedly "looking useless" while what he did wasn't submarining but just following every wagon that passed...

Also looks damn wrong to me. Animorph claimed under pressure a credible thing, but why talking about safeclaims? The imagination of a 5yo on crack (no, I'm not talking about Fir ) would be enough to claim "kid with detective badge", and the very fact you reference to safeclaims makes me think you actually find Ani's claim fullproof and felt compelled to put an argument against it.

That I kinda find credible. I find it fitting SL's taste for weird roles at least... But Nag has a good point when asking you to expand on it, which coincidentally makes me trust him more. The fact Clive doesn't want (or as he says, 'can't') is pretty revelatory.

QFE. Kalish's suggestion reeks of scumbuddy trying to find an easy way out. Why even wait a night for lynching Ani when it's obvious it would happen in your scenario? I really don't buy the two cops line of thought, as Clive's behavior makes it highly doubtful. Seeing Kalish jumped on MIB instead of Clive when given the chance and now defends him in a biaised way (as basing Ani's lynch on Clive's result works only if you trust Clive), I think we found our first 2 scums.

ga7, I agree with the scumdar ping on kalish. I wouldn't suggest limiting a cop's investigation because if the mafia know who any cop is targetting, that helps them out because they may have a way to mess it up somehow so we don't have any info the next day. FOS kalish

The thing regarding the kalishnikov accusation is that it seems that he and Nark and ga7 seem to pick out everything he posts and stamp a FOS on the end of it. I find it hard to take the accusations seriously often now.
