all marvel cartoon-based movies are SHIT. spiderman, batman etc...

But Batman is DC cartoon-based...

And the Batman-movies with Christian Bale are awesome. (Not just saying that because I have a huge man-crush on him.)

I hope it is kick ass! I really like Iron Man! But they screwed The Hulk up and Spiderman 3 they really fucked up! So it's possible. I, however, will wait for the DVD or BLueRay or VHS or LaserDisc...

You forgot Xmen 3 which was also a disappointment for the following reasons.
They made Juggernaut A. a mutant B. not Xavier's brother C. Australian
They implied that Beast had been a furball his whole life, eventhough he makes an appearance in X2 as a human.
Spike is Storm's nephew, but they made him not, and asian
They killed cyclopse (not complainin but didn't happen)
They killed Jean,
Phoenix is not really jean, she is an alien energy of sorts that takes the form of jean.
Jean and Warren are the same age, but they made like a 10 year age difference
And trust me there's more

So your complaint is that they haven't stuck to the story which barely manages to remain consistent with each new plot?

On a wholely seperate note: I think Ironman will be reasonably good. Not really great, but just an orgy of violence I've come to expect of hollywood-blockbusters. Nothing special, just an entertaining ride.

Without Arnie it would be nothing. Schwarzenegger = Conan, Conan = Schwarzenegger.

Without him it could be nothing but fail.

They actually had a new Conan movie in the works just prior to Arnold being elected.

Directed by John Milius (who directed the original).
It would be nice to see Conan (Arnold) come back one more time with Milius as director.
One can only hope.

As for Iron Man, I hope its good because I really liked Iron Man in the comics.
I also heard Iron Man will play a cameo in the new Hulk movie this summer, kind of opening the door for an Avengers movie........

Haven't seen it, not likely to. (Not my favourite character, have been put off by most previous superhero movies) - but my son went to see it with his friends and said it was "really, really good."

It was one of the better Marvel movies thus far. I would say it's in the top 3 for sure.

personally, i wish they would have gone with an older suit model, atleast when he built MKII then had the one they used as MKIII, something along the lines of classic or classic II.
