Rangers get to the UEFA final!

First time they have gotten to this stage since the 70's in Europe.

After a tense and nervous 0-0 draw at fiorentina, where they were at times hanging on, they held out and took the win on Penalties 4-2.

Final at City of Manchester Stadium against Zenith St Petersburg, which will be lucky for our resident billy-boy manc DAZMCFC.

Nice play from the gers, unlucky not to get the ball up to Darcheville, or later Cousin (or later Novo) enough to get that all important away goal, but the defense was solid enough to keep out Fiorentina's frequent forrays into the Rangers defensive third. Great header from Cousin into Liverani's face, really enjoyed that one.

On penalties, was a little disappointed with Ferguson's effort, until of course Vieri stepped up and fluffed it.

Was on the edge of my seat for the whole match and nearly fell off when Alexander saved.

Excellent, just been watching it on the telly. I thought they had fucked up though when Ferguson missed the first one.
