Basically you make a player and human players also own teams. post in their forums saying you're looking for a team and they send you contract offers to join their team.

you start with 400 flex points and use these to make a player and level up
OT costs 100, QB I think is 300. less glamourous positions are cheaper to start. You can also use these 400 points to level up so you can be a 4th level OT right away.
not sure if it's fun but I'm sure some of y'all would like to try it.
