American Idol is the stupidest tripe on television.

fucking worse than The View, and that's pretty fucking awful.

don't be so stupid as to lump the people in with the shitty entertainment produced in their country. if that was the case, what can be said about countries that have produced Britian's Got Talent or Sigfried and Roy?

I am talking about the PEOPLE IN THOSE SHOWS. And I see a certain difference between britains got talent and americans got talent :/ More stupid people in Americans got talent :p

My parents watch Idol (along with Tramping with the Stars) and since the only comp in the house is in the same room as the tv, I get to watch it too!

But the thing that angered me the most about Idol was the charity day. Did the show or FOX ever give a percentage of profits to charity? Did any of those A-B Celebrities donate anthing but their time?
