But this might be the last big thing I'd be doing with them in a long time since I'm off to college the year after, so I really do want to spend it with them. Meh maybe they'll let me have it my way if I explain it like that to them.

listen, i used to think the same thing, but then i got a press pass. and all of a sudden, it was an assigned TASK to go to movies alone, and often at like 11am for a press screening, and then spit out a review right after. or when i was assigned to interview a band, sometimes the photographer would be cool, and we'd hang during the show, sometimes the photog would bail early, but i still wanted to see the concert.
and from that point on, i've never cared about doing shit alone. i've convinced friends to attend plenty of concerts for indie bands they've never heard of, but then i've also attended shows all alone cause nobody wanted to go, or was available to go, but i still wanted to be there.
so yeah, try to sell your friends on the idea, but don't build up the idea of going to the show alone as such a big deal in your head, or the idea of hanging out with them for the last time. you'll be seeing alot of your high school friends this summer, and then next summer, and eventually it won't matter so much anymore.
what will matter are your memories, which you don't get a second chance to form. so if you're as big of a Radiohead fan as you sound, i say go to that show, and do it even if you have to go alone. cause you'll always remember it.
the first time i saw Radiohead was in 98, i might as well have gone with strangers, cause i was a freshman in college and barely knew the people i went with, and i'm not even in touch with any of them anymore. but what i remember, and always will, is the show, not necessarily the people i went with. that's completely ancillary to the memory of the concert.
another example to think about... women i used to date in relation to Radiohead. i was dating a different girl for the Radiohead show in 2000 as for the show in 2003. and i'm not still with either of them (even though we still correspond on occasion). and guess what? it's the memory of the SHOW that i cherish most, not the girl(s) i went with.
so, the only thing that'll make you a loser is if you LOSE your opportunity to see a band you really, really admire because you care what OTHER PEOPLE think.
