Noticed that corleone is mafia, while barzini is a cult?

So that and AD hinting that corrupt cops could be recruited support the idea that Barzini have recruiters.

Anyway apparently mil is clear and there is a bit of accusation flying towards sierra and riggable. Until they come back and defend I will just wait a bit

one would assume the leader/recruiter of the cult would be Emilio Barzini himself, hopefully if that is the case, if he started out alone and recruits at night there shouldn't be anyone left, unless he recruited the night of his death, though there may not be recruiting powers, but instead joining powers are a possibility, as in Fircoal's death it said he was looking for a mafia to join, rather that waiting for a mafia to recruit him (though I suppose it could be interpreted either way).
still we should prepare for the worst case scenario (active recruiter out there)
Perhaps I shouldn't say this, being a cop myself, but as long as the topic of bad cops is up, it seems that this last death scene imitates that of the series, suggesting it was "Al Neri" who killed Barzini, a cop turned Corleone along the way, freed from prison by Tom Hagen.
Selin has displayed a very obvious cop-like role last day, yet didn't claim when asked, as well he was mentioned by wicked (Tom Hagen), not to mention as Selin pointed out he suggested two names that died the next day for me to investigate, if I had followed the town wouldn't have any leads today...

With militant town, I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm curious to hear from Riggable why he thinks Kalish voted him.

At this point I am less inclined to trust both / and Selin. While / has given us a Corleone member, Selin has given us a Barzini member, none have both (maybe in future but not yet). Also Selin, whom did you investigate last night?

the only thing with / that seems kinda surprising is his comment about not understanding that there could be a non-aligned vanilla role, since a Doc was just found dead at the last scene. It just / could have been a little more forthcoming with the result in that situation.

I couldn't understand your logic well.
a) why should I claimed yesterday?
b) I pointed AD yesterday who turned out to be the one which I believed, a barzini day vig
c) I wrote that kalish will be main lead for today who turned out to be a scum in line with mandy's and my analysis
d) I fossed militant because of his defense on wicked, as many of you accepted too.
e) I haven't mentioned rebelsman's name up to that point, but he was the one that got the most votes at that moment. That showed that many others were suspicious about him. Thats why I suggested him to be investigated.
f) finally you investigated militant who turned out to be a townie and he was killed this morning. Does this mean that you should be fossed too according to your logic above? By the way, as militant is dead now, could you explain us why you thought that he should claim? What made you suspicious about his role?
/ wrote:I had investigated Militant, he's clean as far as I can tell, I'd like to hear a claim anyways though, as the role seemed a bit out of place In my opinion, just make sure everything matches up and he's not the godfather or something.

My theory regarding Barzini's is that they have at least one more member. I do not believe that Kalish recruited AD first night, but AD was a Barzini day vig from the start of the game. So kalish:
a) recruited someone else or
b) tried to recruit someone else and was not successful. This may be the reason why kalish voted riggable at the beginning of day 2, believing that riggable should be godfather of carleone's with some probability.

In case a) there should be at least the recruited one left as Barzini. A good candidate would have been /, being a cop, but it could have been also someone else as well.
In case b) there is still the high possibility that at least one of the new adults (former teens) belongs to Barzini's. I can even speculate that nagereous could have made the game setup intentionally that way, so that he can balance the game according to the situation after day 2 (how many barzinis, carleones and townies left).

Regarding the carleones, they have also at least one more member (the godfather), but much more probable at least 2 considering the new adults (former teens).

Taking into account that there are still 23 players left, the above estimations can be increased by 2 more members for each family, or a third family or cult may be existing.

Regarding the day kills I don't expect another day kill today, as we lynched one of the day killers (AD) yesterday. Let's see if this will be the case.

pmchugh wrote:Clive- i remember him sticking up for AD, cant be bothered to find it though its what i remember

This got me thinking. Clive usualy posts very little, so if he sticks out for someone, there must be a reason fo it. Sooo, I went back and re-read (again  ). I found three back-to-back posts made by Clive in which he defends AD:

Clive wrote:I don't think forgetting about a post restriction is scummy.

As some people have mentioned, I think it's more likely someone had a good reason for not wanting to end the day yet.

AD seems to be posting a lot and is proven (as far as i'm concerned, anyway) not to be a Corleone...I suppose it's possible he's in a 2nd scum faction, but he looks like town to me.

Clive wrote:
3) AD: "This is very true. What is also true is that McClusky is the most evil sonofabitch around. Fircoal even admitted that was his name! I can't believe that the town wouldn't vote to lynch the guy who has said he was one of the most corrupt cops in New York!
Unvote
I think Fircoal should be lynched, and we see what comes of it. McClusky was NEVER a pro-town cop in the book or movie."
>> Conclusion: AD gives all the reasons to vote Fircoal, but doesn't vote him. He is trying to get some more votes on Fircoal without bringing himself on the vote list yet.

This is the only one you bring up that makes me doubt AD. But for the moment, it's not enough to outwiegh what i've seen as honest pro-town play.

And I don't see how high activity can be used as a point against him.

Day vigs occur when Nag gets on, not when the killer is online to submit it, so i don't think we can draw any conclusions about that that way. The only case that comes ot mind if is someone's known to be absent for a preiod of time around the kill, it would clear them...

Clive wrote:Admittely, I don't like the way he says (something along the lines of) "I think Selin is scum but I won't vote him cos I don't wanna be accused of OMGUS".

I thinks that nonesense, and if thought someone was scum as AD suggests i'd vote them regardless...

After this, AD bandwagon grew and he made the following post in a attempt to deflect the pressure from himself:

Anarkistsdream wrote:Because I always do this, even though it apparently makes me look scummy

15. Skoffin
16. Spurgistan
17. CrabNebula
19. Serbia
25. Neutrino x
30. Militant
34. Dustn x

These are the people who posted three times or less...

Riggable is at 3, and so is Militant and Skoffin.

However, THESE are the people that don't talk, don't give reasons why they're voting, or plain just don't participate at all.

Out of these, I do not believe Dustn has posted AT ALL.

Serbia and Spurg each have one or two.

Why?

Imidiatly, Clive is on board:

Clive wrote:I'm always happy to pressure a submariner...Dustn hasn't posted at all you say...

vote Dustn

All an all, this case looks even more convincing to me the Riggable's, so unvote vote Clive. Mind you, I still believe that Riggable is scum too, but the evidence for Clive being a part of Barzini Cult are simply to overhelming to be ignored.

Oh yes... that's why I insisted to vote AD where most of you (including yourself :!: )were voting either rebelman or militant.

And yes... that's why I caused another Barzini, kalish to defend AD and got spotted.

And yes... it was a perfect plan of all of us Barzini's where there was not a single clue about our identity. So we just thought that it's a superb idea to reveal our identities and got two of us killed/lynched.

But we couldn't calculate how wise you are, so you revealed me now. =D>
