Cats vs Dogs

Postby Hitman079 on Mon Apr 07, 2008 9:06 pm

I'm surprised such a thread hasn't come up before, so I have taken the liberty of posting one of the oldest and most epic conflicts to date as chronicled in the movie Cats & Dogs. Well, what's your fancy?
Cats...

or dogs?

It's the classic battle of good vs evil! I personally prefer dogs, having a 2-year-old German Shepherd :D

I AM the crazy cat lady, but I am trying to downsize. I have always loved cats. My work schedule makes cats much more feasible for me to own. I have a hard time being home enough to give the dog walks and loves. Cats, they just come and find a spot next to you and take it. Since I was 1, I have always at had at least one cat. I do have a very awesome Irish Wolfhound. I love her to death, but its a lot more work than a cat. As far as the poop goes, it all stinks and is disgusting to pick up. I would never own a puppy again either. I would rather adopt and oldie who has learned her manners and just can't wait for some puppy love. :D I love animals.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

I love both, but in the status quo I only keep cats as pets... basically for the reasons that fwlbabwba outlined. They are MUCH easier to care for. Dogs, I reckon, have the potential for being more FUN than cats, but it's a real gamble. MOST dogs are just annoying.

Same as btown but i'd probably say I like dogs more because sometimes my breathing around long haired cats can get quite bad but if it wasn't for that i would be undecided.

Cats bury it.

I'm slightly allergic to cats, so I've tried to avoid them (my girlfriend has one though, so my body has adjusted a bit). I think, overall, dogs have a higher chance of having an outgoing personality than cats, so I tend to stick to them. But they are both much, much better than those foul avians...

That didn't stop me!
I'm allergic to cat hair, yet being around cats since birth has provided me with immunity.
Shame the same thing doesn't happen with bloody pollen though....

I have tried neither (that I know of), but am searching for a place that serves them. It's rather hard to find...
