Clive your only problem is you don't really explain too well on why someone is "scummy" That is what mostly led to your lynch on day 1 and for most of the town on this last day. That first lynch did show me though that you do those kind of noob things and I gambled on you stating that you were in fact the beloved princess by sending in my kil of fifth as soon as gimpy announced that you were lynched even without your scene.

crab was a roleblocker, but gimpy ran his game based on the order received and my kill was sent quite quickly

Great game gimpy...I'll play in your next one whenever you make it. I probably would have been more involved if I had known anything about Deadwood. I have yet to ever watch an episode but hear it's good. Oh well, I had fun anyway. Congrats town!

I tried sending one to Serbia (with skittles!'s role), but he managed to die in the exact night I tried to contact him. :(

Anyhow, well shot LSU! I still had you pegged as a SK, I'm glad I was wrong. :D

Feedback for Gimpy:
The order in which night actions are handled should not be in order of time sent! Rule 7 is CRAP. It makes being online at the right time and deciding quickly more important than thinking things through and taking your time to discuss with mason/scum partners. I see how this would resemble a wildwest shoot-out, but I don't think it suits a mafia game.
Other than that, I loved this game! The fact that everybody could buy items to gain night actions made it interesting even for vanilla roles. Except ofcourse that there weren't any vanilla roles. But if there had been any, they would've still thought the game was very interesting!

Yeah I took hate the 'order of actions' thing, it basically gives you a disadvantage to being on a different continent then the mod. As most of the mods seem to be American, it means generally if you're an aussie you're buggered.

At least he let you know about it. He probably didn't use it that often, but it is really the only way to play out a story on some nights. In Batman mafia there were sometimes 4 or 5 people with different actions that converged on one night...I found it easiest to post responses by who got their action in first. Not the fairest weay maybe, but better then using random.org or flipping a coin. Did it really matter in this game gimpy?

f*ck me! I knew he'd send in his action first. Oh, you boys got really lucky LSU was so fast, because this would have been over quick. Iliad, you were dying next. And then all I had to do was get town to lynch LoVo, and then it would be down to 3.

Well, if anyone was wondering, I'm the one who bribed LSU to kill Serbia. I'm still pissed I lost. I had this thing.

not only was it in the rules and the game announcement, but multiple times i said to read the rules and made referance to that fact. don't feel alone though, many didn't get it/read it.

Deadwood is an awesome show and my game really didn't do it justice. If you like westerns at all give it a try, netflix has it. Its up there on my pantheon of greatest TV shows ever.

I hear what you're saying about O3 (order of operations) some liked it, others didn't. The idea came from my own frustrations in other games in regards to impossible outcomes. Also i believe that w/ extended days you should already know what you will do @ night, or at least have a decision based on lynch results ready between choice A or B. If i ever run another game i will think long and hard about using it again w/ possible refinements.

the night buying was also born out of frustration/boredom w/ simple roles. To me roles like pricess/actor/bomb are still vanilla, sure your play style could change, but essentially you don't do much in 1/2 the game. which is why those roles had more coin (in some cases). I'm glad you approve because i will definitely try to work something like that if i'm ever inspired again :D

actually it did come into play a couple times. mostly w/ Crab (who had 2 roleblocker characters). He blocked AD one night but sent it a full 2 days after AD sent the kill. Other than that not really except the last shootout, that one had to go to the 1st to send the action.

notes:

I have to give major props to Hearst mafia for killing off 3 Gem scum. That amazed me.

f1fth i thought you had this one as well, especially w/ a double night coming up.

AD why did you kill ET instead of recruit him? I didn't get that one, you knew his character from the first day. just curious.

for the record each mafia had 1 power role janitor/SK but Gem had the ability to enlist Jack Langrishe and Trixie (if they knew who they were). The SK role made no kills the entire game. The only catch was that the victim had to be a female character or else it would fail and the player would know that someone tried to kill them. ratio women to men 7:12

the "trick" you could buy would hide your movement from watcher/tracker but only Iliad(tracker) ever asked me what it was for.

any other game secrets you want to know?

Once again, partially because I;m feverish right now, but I still feel like I got screwed. The only possible way I could have won (1 scum vs. 8 townie) is if I was skipping school and watching this thread constantly. I spent so much time figuring out exactly what I was going to do once the day ended and boom, LSU was on at the right time: GAME OVER.

what can i say? he only beat you to the punch by an hour or so. but even if i had run the game on normal turns, you still died. sure you'd have taken LSU w/ you, but he still killed you

You forgot me ;) I had reserved my action 20 minutes after gimpy announced the lynch and I was going to block you, so it didn't matter either case! And yeah I had a strong suspicion on AD and blocked him on the two consecutive nights but sent my actions late and so it was useless.

A great game in retrospect. More gold earning (or more chance of earning) would have enabled more gold usage. And yeah I didn't like the order of action based on time either, but it was good for a change. Good game everyone, thanks gimpy for having us! :D

Also gimpy can you post all the roles and actions for each night? Thanks!

I didn't like rule 7 either, but it didn't affect me cos I didn't have a night action.

Any chance of breakdown of all the actions.

I had a lot of fun with bribes, especially my obsession with bribing skoffin to watch people I thought would be killed, including myself on the final night.
