Those of us Americans that were in our teens and early twenties when they were kicking ass have reason to jizz over them. The vocals are incredible and they kicked more ass than ANY other grunge band.

I liked Pearl Jam better myself, but Alice in Chains was very good as well. Like Anark said, great vocals.

I like them. To be honest I don't know much about them specifically but my favorite song I believe is called "No Regrets." I could be wrong though.

Alice in Chains is pretty good, i dig their style of music, Pearl Jam I really like the way Eddie Vetter sings, but the best of the best is Ralph Stanely!

Love rotten Apple, Heaven Beside You, Down in a Hole, Man in a Box and many others...I dont hate any of their songs but if i had to pick favorites those would be it

Anyone familar with their new singer Duvall i believe thats his name. Dont know if he comes anywhere near Layne Staley (RIP)

Pearl Jam is my all time fav, but Alice In Chains is top 5. Awesome band. I always enjoyed "Facelift" the most....for a single track, "Nutshell" was a great one, whether from Jar of Flies or Unplugged....

Dirt is an epic album. Angry Chair is probably my favorite Chains song. And they are way better than Pearl Jam.

Actually, we were talking about this in school, today. A friend of mine used to know him when he was still in a band during high school. I saw him in concert too. All I can say is he sounded a lot like the old singer, though that might have been the plan.

As for Pearl Jam, they are a reasonably good band but Alice in Chains music is just so much better.
