well, i mean, Thriller WAS the shit. but that all depends on how old you are.

if you were alive when it was released, and cognizant, then chances are, you're not gonna hate on that album. (except the Paul McCartney duet, that was terrible)

to be honest, Off The Wall was a killer record too. and of course, it had nothing to do with Michael Jackson -- both of those albums were ALL ABOUT Quincy Jones.

so, as much as i think Michael Jackson is an abhorrent person (pederasts deserve whatever they get), i can't hate on Thriller. i just can't. Billie Jean is one of the best songs that ever come on at a club.

I remember when Thriller was released. And I love that album, don't get me wrong.

All I said is that they are overrated. There is still decent music from the early 80s, but starting in about '88 and on, the music sucked.
