I represent and up and coming professional gaming team. I'm pretty much spamming the same thing everywhere, and this is just another outlet ^^.
The Gist of it.
Our team is in the infant stages, with very few members. Quality over quantity I always say! I myself have played for the pro gaming team "ToT" (http://www.tot-gaming.com) as well as competed with the best for Starcraft and Wc3 players back in the day.
Long story short, I got sick of people in ToT and left. I've had offers into other top teams for various games, but I've always really wanted to have my own team. It's always been my dream, and for the past month or so I've been making it a reality.
I've recruited many players for a small range of games which I feel have the potential as well as ambition to make it in this industry.
I have an up and coming clothing company completely stoked to work with the team. A small endorsement is better than none at all.
What I don't have is a full roster. I've put out ads in the local paper. Online forums of many kinds, and I get a lot of people interested, but I'm looking for talent, not 16 year old kids with a twinkle in their eye. It's tiring but I've been trying people out for the past week straight. Maybe about 400 so far. I've only picked up one player though.
Right now I'm trying out CoD4 players, and Halo 3 players. I DO have 3 or 4 very very good CoD4 players, but we need about 8 total. CoD4 has it easy as MLG has stated that CoD4 will be the first ever online only game. (Mainly because the game while in itself is very very competitive, cannot be played LAN... (When you plan LAN on CoD4 you cannot use your classes.. that's right zero customization... GROSS! not to mention the computer generated classes are worthless)) So you wont have to travel much. Halo 3 players... eh not so lucky!!!
I myself play both games and will be trying out out CoD4 players as well as Halo 3 these next few weeks. I myself am on a 145 game winning streak for heads up play on CoD4, and I don't really play Halo 3 anymore, so you HAVE to really impress me.

I only have a few things that I ask of players. You listen (check your rock-star attitudes at the door please). Must be willing to practice A LOT (it's true pro gamers have no lives), and you must be over 17. I know there is a lot of talent in the younger crowd, mostly because at that age you have a lot of time to practice, but it's a general maturity issue, and in the event of traveling it makes things a lot easier knowing I don't have to baby sit, or deal with parents.
