I'm talking about 6/8 player escalating cards games, mostly on Classic.
For everyone who doesn't know the term 'builder game': This is when the stacks on the board are so massive that kills are hard to make/not worth the recash. This usually only happens when games tend towards stalemates, and they usually end (at least to what I've experienced) when someone suicides or makes a really risky move, essentially bringing the game to an end.
I actually don't like to be in those games, as they tend to be really long (usually the game starts to be a builder game after 2 hours or so), so the couple of times I ended up in being in one, I got tired of it after 2 1/2- 3 hours and usually tried to end the game, may it be for me or another player (of course, for me, if it was possible).
So, what do you guys do when you end up in a builder game? I usually wait for someone else to take a shot at eliminating someone and try to steal it, but I'm sure there must be other strategies to it as well. Especially since most high ranked players to the same-- so what to do best if everyone waits for others to make a noobish strike?
