It doesn't bother me that I can't create topic after topic as fast as I can. It drives me crazy though that I post a response, realize I misspelled something, try to edit it and then save it...and get that message. It's just stupid.

Try my line of work :wink:

I post a response in cheating and abuse, then change to title to add [busted] or [cleared] and I get that message perhaps 50% of the time :lol:

It happens when I'm updating my tournaments. And it's really going to suck if it's still the case when I have to send out tournament PMs next week if it's still around.

They increased the time limit between messages to reduce load on the server. It isn't a permanent change, but something we will have to adjust to temporarily. It isn't that much different from before.

Wow bedub, that was unnecessary...and yes, I would classify that as spam

The flood limit got increased by 15 seconds...you have to wait only 30 seconds between posting or editing. There isn't a way to separate edit and post unfortunately, but really, it is only 30 seconds

It will be set back tomorrow if the DB load gremlins stop attacking. I think we'd all agree, waiting an extra 15 seconds between posts is probably better than not being able to post at all if the change gives us an extra couple % overhead on the load.
