wales deserved that. Brian ashton IS a hack after all.

That they did.

Perhaps this is going to be our tournament form forever more: Lose the first few games then fluke our way to wins in the rest.

That was a good game. France looked very strong. A fair few new bloods, too, so it certainly looks like they're on the rise after their World Cup exit.

Scotland were poor though. It might be different when they are under presure.

Gotta say that Wales really proved me wrong. After that first half they did so well to turn it around. Still, England really threw it away - Ashton must have told them to lose at half time

France looked stronger than I expected today - I really thought Scotland might give them some trouble, seeing as how few experienced players played for France. It will take a lot to beat them again this year

I have to say, Wales played some superb stuff today.

And, in my humble opinion, Shane scored that try!!!

oh shit. some dodgy decisions against us. even Jonathon Davies said when it went 17-12 that a Welsh plaer should of been sin-binned and then when it went to 17-15 Gough should of been sin-binned. thwe ref said "i'll give you the benefit of the doubt" balls he just barged right into him.

Scotland did not look like scoring a try though and were deeply disapointing. they only got into Wales's 22 in the last 4 minutes. :(

France look unbeleivable against Ireland in the 1st half. a hat-trick of tries from Clerc.

Great day of rugby yesterday. Ireland France was a cracking match. Looking forward to thrashing those Italians today hopefully too...

Great rugby yesterday, although I'm convinced France play with a remote controled ball. How does one team get as many lucky bounces as they have had in their first 2 games?

I was wondering that myself. We were unfortunate to be so far down after the first half. The second was brilliant - a bit of encouragement for the first time since last year! :D

Typical French play...blitz approach for the first 1/3, get control, then start playing with the style only they seem to truly have. However...the spirit the Irish played with in the second half was truly inspiring. I was marching up and down my lounge shouting at the screen for the last 15 minutes...really thought they might just pull it off.

As for today....it is banana skin time for England. Loads of the dump trucks are out and Italy have a serious pack to contend with. Shaw and Borthwick are still there though...thank goodness.
