To be honest, yorkie would have been at the top of my list despite the recent events. I respect the work that he has done to a very high degree. However, I know he would have refused the gift for personal reasons and I would not want to encroach upon those.

I don't think many people feel I was tooting my own horn. I didn't have my own ideas for who to give it to, and I wanted honest opinions as to who was deserving. That is what I got and I made my choice from the players that were nominated. I don't see the problem in that.

I spend almost 99% of my time interacting with premium players and so I don't have a lot of non-premium acquaintances to chose from.

I just spent some time going over the 1st 5 pages of the scoreboard. I was amazed how many good top ranked players are non- premium. true a few controversial names there but still a great list to choose from.

If there were a legitimately skilled player who has contributed to this site in a positive manner that was deserving in some way of being randomly gifted free premium, who would they be and WHY?

I'm incredibly serious about this, I cannot stress it enough, so I only want to see serious, well thought out answers. You have only a few hours to convince me of your arguments—while I am still in the mood so to speak.

Also, they need to CURRENTLY be non-premium.

I mean, there is a few of us who have contributed to the site in a very positive manner and have added to it tremendously, but some of us are premium and pay, why can we have a 1 year free membership also?

I realize there are plenty of folks who pay for the membership that are deserving of extensions to their current memberships, but this time I wanted it to go to someone who had not had a membership yet.

I have extended memberships for others before though, and will continue to do so as I see the reason to.
