back to the topic of the post, this is another example of the government sticking there nose where it doesn't belong. Just like when they banned trans-fats in NYC restaurants. If people wanna be 800 pounds, then let them be. I can see passing laws to prevent kids from eating crap at schools because they might have some deadbeat parents that don't teach them anything, so they don't know any better. But this talks about restaurants not being able to serve adults! This law would infringe upon both parties. The owners of the PRIVATELY OWNED restaurant are trying to run a business, the "obese" people coming in to eat are hungry and have every right to eat as much as they want to, well, as long as they can pay for it haha. Passing this law loses business for the restaurant and denies people to eat. Smaller government, less government intrusion is the key. They start with stupid little stuff like this, then they start taking more.
