can u believe that in the uk, Natives cant get BCG injections free and have to pay, while foreign people living in the uk can get theirs free, this is on the NHS by the way (silly government making silly decisions agen)

and my foughts on this is that everyone should get it free, what if a foreigner who has illegally crept into the uk, who has not had their BCG have close contact with a uk native who cant be allowed the injection without having to pay then catches a disease who might then pass it on to their family and friends who agen cant have a BCG injection without having to pay and it goes on and on and on, madness, i think so.

what is it like in other countries people?

BCG - a injection given to stop stuff like tiberculosis, the injection lasts 15 years before you need to get another one

NHS - the 'national' health service, its a free service ment for every uk citized they get operations and stuff free, but i think we have to pay more taxes than in other countries though some people are living on the doll for no good reason and can still get it free, UK is trully a amazing place

well to contrast it....in america, you are likely to get fantastic care if you have a quality insurance provider...but for millions of people, citizens and aliens, you are just as likely to not be able to get some of the care that you might hope for or expect to be able to get.

TANSTAAFL

I've heard SOOOO much bullshit about "millions of Americans without health care". You know why they don't have health care? Cause they don't buy it. My health insurance is less than $1 per day, so less than $30 a month, less than $180 for half a year. The moral of the story is this: If you don't have health insurance, you are a retard and should go buy it.

And brooksieb, that is bullshit. You should be able to get the shots. I hate hearing about illegal immigrants in the US that sneak in and get free healthcare/medicare/social security etc.

yer someone native to the uk before official records began e.g. if som1 crossed over from france or belgium or somwhere like that during the ice age they wud be classed as a native to uk since we dont know if they are a native or not, or if ur family originated from the romans or vikings or normans or whatever and decided to live here (why u get blonde, ginger natives and stuff)

my family probably originated from france scandinavia or rome, since i have a bit of blonde in me

out of curiosity, what kind of plan did you go with. Did you have to qualify for it? Is that plan going to be able to provide a variety of different types of insurance for you?

I question whether or not your plan would adequately support the entire nation, including those millions of people you are pissed off about. however i could be wrong and you may have found a pretty excellent plan, and if so congrats.

But I believe that the records of british history, from my understanding, are extremely open to interpertation.

The written history of the British Isles does not even accurately record the saxon invasions, and that only happened around 400 AD.

I believe that the anglo-saxons are as you call "native".

Forgive these ignorant american twats. Do not even respond to them. They know Sweet fuck-all about their own country, let alone anyone elses.

Have you tested the coverage of your health care? I doubt that's all you'd have to pay if you needed, say, a heart transplant. Hell, my family's rich as hell, and we don't like to fall back on our insurance unless it's absolutely necessary. Too expensive. I got a ring stuck on my finger once. I spent an hour with twine, butter, ice water, pliers, and excruciating pain to avoid paying more than $200 to get it removed.

I actually only have Major Medical. I can pay for my own flu shots etc. So I have a high deductible, like $1000, which makes it very cheap.

Nope, I'd have to may the deductible and then I believe it's 100% covered by the insurance company.

In approximately one minute of googling I have found the answer to his little diatribe anyway.

Because of the very very low rate of TB among the vast majority of the population, the Government have withdrawn TB vaccination from all schools. Now it is a targeted vaccine administered free on the NHS to all in high-risk areas. The immigrant population, many of whom will come from countries with lower healthcare in general, present a much higher TB risk and so immunisation is wide scale for them. You can't just walk into your local GP any more and demand a TB vaccination for free, but if you live in an area where you might be at risk it is still free. Makes sense to me.

Ok, by your logic guiscard, shouldnt these aliens be stuck in a cell until they have had these jabs?

Or, unless you prefer, let blackeys pass on their disease to whiteys, cure blackys free of charge, then charge whiteys for it?

I mean, if blacky had diseaase in first place, it was fucked, but they can charge responsible whitey for the pleasure of sharing bus with blacky, and being breathed on, eh?

Makes economical sense...import the disease, sell the vaccine.

Top marks guiscard, for being a cunt.

well i suppose the question is, do you think your type of plan would be given to families, and if you think it would be, do you assume it would be just as affordable?

I think there inlies part of the problem. I have some reservations about whether that particular plan would really be applicable to everyone.

Of course it's not applicable to everybody. But thats why I like the Freedom of Choice. You can choose what you do and don't want to pay for. Instead of just being taxed at a crazy rate and given a piece of shit healthcare....

I like to CHOOSE what I want...instead of it being forced upon me.
