Team Game area held?

Just joined my first team game - wow, nicely implemented - this style is nice.
One query however - in respect of the continents do you only get the points if you hold the continent by yourself or can you get points if the team holds the continent?

Just ask your teammate to fortify you, leaving 1 army in his space, so that its easier to complete the continent.

It only sucks when you lose multiple armies to your own teammate.

Or when your teamate doesnt listen. Im currently in a no card game where i have all but one country of a continent, which my teamate owns with 3 men. He doesnt want to fortify me. I think it might be due to him being a new player.

Just to get this straight - if a team mate fortifies you he takes the square?

if he fortifies you the countries stay the same....just the men he transferred become yours.
