CC Give away

CC give away

Well, i was thinking that Lack could do a pull out of a hat(or pull out of the peanut jar ;) ).

It would work like this: you auto enter everymember(thats freemium) into a drawing and the winner would win free premium memebr ship for a month, you would only pick one person per month.

Why it is needed: To keep CC happy and also maybe get some more premium members, if you get it for a month you will want it forever, its away to show people that premium is really fun and is worth the money, and 1 month is not that big so it wouldn't give that much money away.(fine.. $2..), so is it good?

im a freemie, but still, i dont expect to be a winner. i never win any contests of this type, so with that attitude, i say that it will keep more people as long-lasting players, will make the winners want to buy it, and will make CC a happier place with less noobs that join then quit.

You know what's even better than this idea? The current Referral Program, because that isn't based on luck...but your own effort and determination. If you can bring some new members to Conquer Club, and get them hooked by having them purchase Premium Membership...you can get some free Premium Membership! So work hard, and put in the effort...rather than trying to hope for a lottery draw.

But most people who do that and get their friends to play they/their friends won't by prem because they don't know what its like, now if you do this you can show them that it is even MORE fun then only having 4 games open and they WILL buy it, its just a small thing that would get lack more money  .

It's all about effort. If you put it in, you get rewards back. :)

I think the once a month lottery is a great way of causing awareness for casual members. The referral program is great for those willing to do hard work, and thus the reward is less luck oriented because of it. I think the argument in the first post is completely sound and legitimate. Just my $0.02. I wouldn't mind either way, since I don't ponying up the $25 a a year for my premium.

But while the referral program has been brought up, is there any way to get credit for members who joined by my referral that didn't go through the referral program. I am positive I am directly responsible for no less than seven premium memberships, but none of them were through my referral link. It might be unlikely, but is there anyway to get credit for them at all?

Just enter anybody who's been active in the past two weeks and has finished more than five games.

I think there already are a lot of premium members.. and there will always come more, because this is a great game
so I don't think a draw is needed
But I guess there are a lot of younger players too, and they don't have a credit card yet.. so more paying options would be better? (thinking of bank transfer)

Andy, the refferal program doesn't always work. I've gotten 6 people to join CC, but I didn't use the stupid refferal program. Most people wouldn't even bother looking at the email they get. Besides, a 1 month premium membership would cost next to nothing, and it gives fremiums a taste of premium, which would make them want to buy the full membership even more. Yeah I know, I sound just like my brother right now. But someone bought me premium and I love it, if I would have had premium for just one day to see what it was like I would have bought it myself.

Theres my 2 cents Unit, happy now?

Bloody hell, the multis that would get created and never used just to increase their chances of winning

It was bad enough with the random draw program...I can;t imagine if it was everyone!

Or parents.

A 1 month premium membership would cost absolutely nothing since it's a virtual item ... but that's not the point.

The whole suggestion appears to rely on the premise that freemium members are unable to imagine what it would be like to have premium membership and need to be given a taste to appreciate the possibilities ...

The Premium Membership link which appears on every page of the site, and so is not hard to find, is very helpful for anyone having difficulty imagining it ...

I read that page and got my mum to pay my premium within a few days of joining as a freemium. I guess I'm a particularly imaginative guy ;)
