In spite of what Scripture tells us about Him. Lord, Father, God; none of these sound very "non-gender" to me. And I would think that Jesus, being the Son of the Lord (And thus being the Lord) would have Clue One in his Brain One when He refers to God as Father.
But maybe because I actually read what is written and not what I wish to see, maybe that makes me evil? I doubt it, but Contritarians love to use that tortured logic to justify the destruction of anything "traditional". Take a good look at the world: it hasn't changed fundamentally (it's still just as carnal as it was in Roman times) in over 2000 years and won't until Judgement Day.
But God is supposed to be infinite. As an integral part of being infinite, God must possess every concievable trait. God is as much male as it is female, as it is a small hallucanogenic mushroom.
It may style itself male (or, more accurately, humans may style it male), but in reality it would be so far beyond human comprehension as to make the term "male" completely pointless.
P.S. I refuse to believe in any apparently infinite deity who's ego is so fragile as to require constant groveling in the form of violations of normal gramatical laws. The praying I can understand, as this requires some effort and so shows that person's love for God. The capitalization, however, is completely pointless.
