i do not know the formal term, but i mean the drums that rock bands have. i've been playing them for years, and i can't even play a little bit of anything else :D
i have stage fright, and i can't sing too well, so i guess drums suits me as a background-kinda instrument, yet i can still express myself and get into the song.

From conversations I've overheard and partaked in, I believe you're taking about a drum set, which has more than one type of drum in it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

not really. It is too large and too blunt to actually be able to use it as a weapon. A guitar, flute, sax, trombone, helicopter carrying a piano on the other hand

A club is large and blunt, as is a battering ram and a large stick along with a mace.
