...irony about dunkirk, everyone thinks the germans let the british and french escape but in reality they couldn't advance further because the panzers were too far ahead of the infantry to mount a proper assault...

Like I've said, we have already have a sanitazed mini-Germany in France, called Alsace. It does the beer, and Riesling. Maybe not cars, but hey, we produced classics in that field already. Also Gemrnay is cold and dark. France is only cold and darkin the winter in the north.

lool my great grandad thought in dunkirk in 1940 they all ran back to britain to make another army and then finally cut through the axis barrier but in 1944 when they were cutting through the barrier my great grandad was fighting somewhere in north africa (Egypt, Libya or algeria) or greece lol

Actually iirc, it was because of Goering. He wanted his Luftwaffe to shine and told Hitler his air could take care of it, even though everyone in the Luftwaffe knew that the bombs wouldn't explode or do maximum damage in the sand. Hitler believed Goering and ordered his divisions to stop.
