No? Of course you don't, because once again he's just talking unsubstantiated bollocks and then insulting people when they don't agree with him.

I think video OF THE PERSON IN QUESTION speaking for himself is CREDIBLE! Of course credible to you would be a wiki link.

You're right, how could we possibly doubt a politician's words? How could we refuse to accept his frantic attempts to back-peddle? Why, he's so committed to what he's saying that he doesn't even want to give the money back to symbolise his rejection of such support. I have to take immensely seriously any man who says (within 30 seconds) that he doesn't want white-supremacist money, while refusing to give back money that he has raised from white-supremacit organisations.

Hell, you're right Jay, we should all just blindly accept what we hear and see people say in the media, and not question the truth of those statements at all. Whoever said that actions speak louder than words must have been out of his tree eh?

PS. I now have every right to call you a 'sheeple' because you are clearly a media brain-washed drone. Sound ok to you? Good stuff.

Yet since the amount is $500, or purely symbolic, this means Big Ron's acceptance of it is purely symbolic.
Furthermore, we have already established Big Ron is, beyond reasonable doubt, not a racist.
Therefore to attack him based on his acceptance of the money is not viable, unless you were to find sufficient wrong in the thought process underlying Big Ron's acceptance of said donation that would constitute just reason to question his ability to accept the role of the United States of America'd highest magistrature.

I seriously doubt anyone dismisses RP only because he accepts money from racists.

I am clearly laying out the premises. If you find this offensive, there isn't much I can do about it.

1)Yes, we get onto that bit later. Read posts before you try to attack them.
2)Persons, not groups. Don Black is not a plurality of racist groups, let alone a single one, he only happens to be an advocate of white power.

As do I. I said to question his ablility, not to outright condemn his candidature.

Obv. The whole point is that this is symbolic.
Napoleon Ier wrote:Furthermore, we have already established Big Ron is, beyond reasonable doubt, not a racist.
We have? Feel free to point out where...
Napoleon Ier wrote:Therefore to attack him based on his acceptance of the money is not viable
It is viable. Just saying something isn't viable doesn't magically make it true.
Sure we aren't saying that one donation makes Ronny automatically invalid to 'accept the role of the United States of America's highest magistrature', but we are saying that it makes him a less good option for President than somebody who either didn't take the donation in the first place, or a person who gave the donation back. Capiche yet?

I know you love Big Ron and all, but don't you think you're clutching at straws on this one?

Yes, right.....

So DM, exactly why do you think this (accepting a donation from a private citizen who incidentally happens to have racist views) indicates "Big Ron" may behave in a way unfit to be the POTUS?

For the record, I'm really not interested in watching YouTube videos posted by Paul supporters. Call me ignorant, close-minded, whatever. I've made up my mind concerning Paul and his stance on the issues, and I'm not with him.

10%...bummer....still, I suppose he was only polling what? 5%, so hopefully he'll get the ol' snowball effect going, thatd be good! I'm thinking McCain realistically is our best option (though I fear we'll get CLintonov or Obama vs. goddam Huckabee)

Interesting news coming out about ron paul being a bit of a racist.....

Apparently he had some kind of magazine or periodical that he published called ron paul and associates (at least the company) that was quite overtly racist from 1988 to 1996 (before he was a congressman). Originally he had said some of these things were taken out of context...and in 2001 he changed his stance to he didnt write them.

Also he has spoken out a few times at neoconfederate gatherings....maybe that whole accepting donations from white supremacists....not as surprising as youd think.

Paul was in the Congress in the 80's, left to go back to being a doctor, then ran again for Congress.

Aside from the lame allegations that Paul is a racist, what do you think of him NOT being invited to the FOX debate? Unfair and Unbalanced?
