U.S. Senate Tournament

This is my first tournament so I hope I do well.

Ok i revized this to make more sense.

You are running for a seat in the U.S. Senate for the 112th United States Congress in 2010. The road ahead was tough and many obstacles stood in your way… namely the other people vying for your seat. But now the day has come, and the election is here. Let’s see if you can get your seat in the senate.

This is an Elimination Tournament, if you lose your out. Pick one of the three parties: Dem, Rep, or Ind and put it in your post. There can only be 8 Rep, 8 Dems, and 8 Ind so watch the other posts plz. After round one the next election will begain for the 113th and so on.

Players: 24 playing 8 winners the first round...the second round will go 1v1...and then the third will be 1v1...and the last will be the 2 that are left.

I would like to join as an Independent.

Are the games going to be one-on-one?

What's the purpose of choosing a party? Will we be playing people in our own party until the last game when there will be one person from each of the three parties?

Good questions. Would you care to explain the set-up a bit more Lord Apophis?

Please explain if you have 8 games with 3 players each and you come down to 8 winners in the first round

How will the second round work and how do you win the tourney?
