LFAW's Family Feuds 1 (0/8 Families)
Posted: Sun Sep 06, 2009 7:06 amOk looking for 32 people in this tournament (8 Teams). I am also looking for 4 Reserves.
If this is a success I will run a series of tournaments based on families
Either sign up in one of two ways, 1) Sign up as a group of 4 and assign yourself in each of the roles detailed below (also give yourselves a family surname )
2) Sign up by yourself and i'll try and get a team together.
The Family Members:
1. Dad
2. Mom
3. Son
4. Daughter
How the points system works: Every game is a family member battling other families members in order to get points. (Like a game show).
Every game will have a points allocation and that will determine a families progression through the tournament.
At the end of Round 1, 2 Families will be eliminated (with the fewest points)
At the end of Round 2, 2 more Families will be eliminated (with the fewest points)
At the end of Round 3, 2 more Families will be eliminated (with the fewest points)
In the event of a tie between 2 families at the bottom (with fewest points), a series of 1v1 games will occur to determine the winner. (Maps in the round repeated for each 1v1, also family members will be randomised so mom could fight son of another family etc.)
All game match-ups will be randomised.
Due to time in the real world, any points NOT claimed in under 18 Rounds (unless otherwise stated) then no points will be awarded for a winner.

Mom's Madness
Time: 6 AM
"Where are the car keys?"
The Mom's go manic looking for the car keys in the house, strangely 3 other moms have lost the keys in your house aswell! Good luck finding them!

Son's Charm Time, Daughter's Flirt Stage
Time: 8 AM
"Hey, you are far too pretty to not know me"
The Son's flirt with the other families Daughters. The Daughter's flirt with the other families Sons. *Sigh* School politics.

The Girls are having fun trying to get eachother in a huge heap of trouble with the Mom, who will get that phone call off first?

Break-Time Boredom
Time: 11 Am
"I'm bored, lets go play some some damn Chinese Checkers"
With the girls busy playing pregnancy pranks the boys indulge in some nice quiet games, until they get all competitive...
Break-Time Boredom involves 3 games for every Son (1 on every map)
Number of Games: 6
Maps: Chinese Checkers, Conquer 4, Duck and Cover
No of Players: 3 per game
Settings: Standard, Freestyle, Esc, Unlimited, No Fog
Points Allocation: 2 Points for a Win

Dad, Mom and Daughter encounter a rival family... grr (2 games per family)

Settings: Triples, Seq, No Spoils, Chained, No Fog
Points Allocation: 1 per person killed on other team (i.e. 3 for a win).

After-school rush to the Mall
Time: 4 Pm
"SHOPPING!"
The 2 remaining families battle for the CC Mall in best of 3 games.
Number of Games: 3
Map: City Mogul
No of Players: 8
Settings: Quads, Seq, Esc, Unlimited, Fog
The winner is the family who eliminated the most family members out of the 3 games.
(i.e. one family could still get 3 points out of a losing game).
