Hello everyone and welcome to my 3rd tournament.

This tournament will be a triples edition.

Minimal sign up score for a team at sign up = 6000

Please use this format to sign up:

20 teams
2 devisions
1 round point system
2 rounds knock out system

Round 1:

The 20 teams will be split up in 2 groups of 10. Eich group will play every team in that group on 1 of the 9 maps (9 maps and 9 opposing teams = 1 team a map).

Week 1: 3 games
Week 2: 3 games
Week 3: 3 games

The point system will go as follow:
- Win with all 3 players of the team left = 3 points
- Win with 2 players of the team left = 2 points
- Win with 1 player of the team left = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points

After All games in round 1 have finished top 2 teams will continue to semi finals. In case of a tie between place 2 and 3 a tie breaker will be played on U.S. Senate.


Semi-Finals:

4 teams left. Both teams who finished 1st in their group will go head on. Both teams who finished 2nd in their group will go head on. All the 9 maps are played here. win 5 out of 9 to advance to finals.


Finals:

2 teams left. All the 9 maps are played. Win 5 out of 9 To win the tournament.

So first round will be 9 games, correct? Will you be sending out 9 at once or staggering the games? What about the other rounds - all 9 at once?

the general idea was to send them out all at once. But perhaps you can give me a good reason not too and i can adjust my opinion since i didnt set a time table officialy yet

9 games at once is a bit much, but that may just be my opinion I'd rather go for 3 games a week over 3 weeks.

my last tourney i had 1 round of 17 games all at once.
But perhaps its not a bad idea.

Would make the tournament a bit longer.

I think ill go with your idea and make it 3 games a week

One query....why match-up the winners of Div.A against the winners of Div.B in the semis? Seems to me it would be more advantageous to come 2nd and thus play the weaker semi-finalist from the other division. It doesn't seem right that of two division-topping teams one of them will definitely not make the final.

im aware of this. I know its normal that the top teams dont match up but i thought i'd shake things up a bit and in my opinion all the 4 that advance to the semi-finals out of the 20 teams are top teams.

But mainly like i said i'd thought i would shake things up a bit
