Age of Merchants (Winner - xroads)

Come voyage off into the Caribbean for tropical beaches and sun during these wintery days of February (at least those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, in non tropical regions).

Let's play Age of Merchants

And lets reduce the luck of the drop by playing poly 2 and trench.

And we will do this double elimination, best of three on each round.

And this will be for my XXX organization medal. So of course they have to be red letters.

Looking for 16 to be assigned randomly for double elimination.

I would suggest you include a round limit as trench escalating can be quite lenghty otherwise

In my experience, that doesn't happen in 1 v 1. And I personally detest games where people just stack to round limit. But thank you for making suggestions. I always like to see things from a different perspective or a way I haven't thought of. What I have learned from experimenting with these settings is that they are the best I have found for eliminating the luck of the drop in 1 v 1. And for reducing the first turn advantage.
