Ipod Help

So my Ipod which i've had for a couple of years, and up until now, was problomatic free (especially compared to how many other people's Ipod's had stuffed up in a considerbly shorter time). The input has been worn away and now only one speaker plays in all headphones and stereos. (unless the speaker jack is severly contorted, which I doubt will be good for it)

I've been trying to find away for turning the Ipod or headphones mono, so I can atleast get the whole song in one ear/speaker, but am having trouble finding out if it's possible.

I'm not very tech savvy so any help would be appreciated

thanks

if you cum on the screen and slap your mother in the face it will play mono.

if that doesn't work make an appointment at your local apple store

The plug you insert into the ipod has 3 metal pieces. 1 is ground, 1 is left, 1 is right. What you can do is buy a "mono extension cable" thats about 3 inches long from radio shack. It *should* hopefully hit the ones that work, and play the exact same sound out both speakers. Or you can cut the wire, hook both the left and right of your headphones to the working one of the ipod.

I used to work at a Mac repair store. We didn't fix iPods but there was a company we referred people to who are supposed to do pretty good work..

No, but why is a raven like a writing-desk?

(Incidentally, the pub in my play Wotcha! Gotcha! is called the Raven and Writing-Desk.
