Next Sunday is BCS selection time. Any predictions? Here's the way CBS analysts think it will go:

BCS Championship Game: Ohio State vs. USC
Sugar Bowl: Florida vs. Notre Dame
Orange Bowl: Wake Forest vs. Louisville
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Boise State
Rose Bowl: Michigan vs. LSU

Here's the LINK for the rest of the bowls.

Thoughts?

I think your predictions are probably pretty accurate. I sincerely hope that they put Florida where USC is lined up there, but seeing how they obsess over USC I don't think it will happen.

wow, CBS is idiots. They have VT as ACC#2 and GT as ACC #4-5, when even if GT loses to WFU (which I highly doubt!), they're still ACC#2. I predict GT wins ACC, not WFU.

Wouldn't be so sure. WFU is pretty tough this year.

It's been kind of fun to watch their website change their predictions almost hourly LOL!! The ESPN predictions are even more hilarious. They're sayiing LSU is going to the, get this, OUTBACK Bowl (LINK).

I'm not sure what LSU did to piss off ESPN to hate them so much - oh, wait a minute, that's right - LSU won the National Championship in 2003 over their little USC darlings. They've never forgiven them for that. Turned USC's dynasty into a Onepeat and in the process made ESPN look like the biased idiots they are.

and in the end showed that the SEC was the superior division by wiping the floor with Oklahoma.

It was ugly but it was a win. The margin of victory doesn't matter, right? Oh, that only applies to USC when they barely get by the other Pac10 powerhouse teams, like Arizona State. Then it means they have "character." Can you tell that I really, really hate USC?? :)

I believe Wicked did that on purpose to simply make fun of CBS. It's called satiric expression.

Hey, I feel slighted! :D At least ASU canned Koetter today... they had that game won, but such is the life of a football fan in Arizona. At least the Suns are playing now. Clear, blue skies ahead. Ohh, I forgot, I live in the desert ... brown skies instead. :D

Yeah USC barely scrapes by teams that should be pushovers so often that it's almost a passtime for them. It irritates me because I've only heard them get dissed for it once.

Koetter gone too? Wow. The list of job vacancies is growing: Alabama (Shula), NC State (Amato), UNC (Bunting), Miami (Coker), Cincinnatti (Dantonio), Iowa State (McCarney), Michigan State (Smith), North Texas (Dickey). . . have I forgotten anyone?

Didn't mean to come down on Arizona State - that was the first game that came to mind when thinking about who USC scraped by this year when it should have been a blow out (if USC is as great and almighty as ESPN makes them out to be). I've got utmost respect for ASU - they should have beaten USC.

So you're implying that FL won't be in a big bowl game?

It's odd that you'd think that, especially after Arkansas lost to LSU. Also, Notre Dame shouldn't be number ten, we could beat Boise State! Boise State must've player Pop Warner teams to have gotten a perfect record.
