Hi i wanted to show you guys this game.

It is a nice game that is free to play, ofcourse you are allowed to donate something.

It is set in 1454 so that means the New World is not discovered yet.

The playing Nations are England,France,Germany and Spain. Holland is about to be build.

You start as a peasant and work your way up to whatever you want: a corn farmer, pig breeder, a butcher or perhaps a well know tavern owner. You can be a merchant or a mayor of a town even count of a province. Ofcoruse there are plenty of more things you can be. You only need to be online 5 mins a day, however it is much more fun if you visit the forum and play along in one of the many role playing parts.

If you like the middle ages this is a nice game to play.

Take a look at http://www.renaissancekingdoms.com if you like it come and play along if you dont like it, well then you can leave without any problem.

If you have questions about the game, my ingame is Appel.

Regards

It might have been discovered if you look at the viewpoint that Portugal new about it ahead of time; Columbus was born in Cuba, Portugal and named the island for it; and Columbus was a spy into Spanish territory for Portuguese King John. I'm a young author, so I look for ideas and that was one that I'm writing a novel about that i doubt will ever get published :)

well about that usa thing, take the Vikings or perhaps the Russians... I dont know a lot of theories about the russians but it could be a nice one.

Perhaps you can use the Azores as well.. Indians setting sail to Europe, i believe there is a golf stream from over there to europe...

Good luck in writing it...

And send me one copy please :p

I've started it already. It's also based on the papal bull of, what 1793? that divided the new world into areas that the spanish could colonize and areas that portugal could colonize, and a lisbonese cult that thinks it can claim that land because of that and the fact that it discovered it. But the Indians sailing for Europe sounds interesting to... thanks!

well thats a map of the golf stream, so that headed straight to europe, but if they got into that circulating golf stream then they might have ended up on the azores and even the canaries.

Good luck.
