Looks like a hack (by which I mean, a trick, not actually anything hacking your computer) but it might work.

Apparently it takes memory from your... disk drive?

I have used it for a very long time. But I found that it will eat your CPU but reduce memory usage. You can see the effect when you using a high memory but bad CPU computer.

Dante wrote:If it eats your CPU, than it’s mostly likely just a virtual memory program. Instead of letting Firefox use RAM to run, it makes Firefox use the disk drive. Newer drives are probably so fast, you don’t notice the slow down.

I think its crap, I tried it yesterday, and had trouble, it wasn't any faster and it added stuff I didn't want. Some scrabble game, and a toolbar.

For example I had Firefox using 150megs of ram while running, I started up this utility and almost instantly Firefox was using less than 2 megs of ram!

Which means his is using about 4 times more than mine... I think he's doing something wrong.

Min uses about 100-110 megs, but I think it's cranked up a fair bit because I'm using chatzilla.
