The Guardian wrote:"I think that in retrospect I could have used a different tone, a different rhetoric," Bush told the Times as he flew across the Atlantic on Air Force One. The phrases he used to win support for the war such as "bring 'em on" and "dead or alive" he said, "indicated to people that I was, you know, not a man of peace."

hahaha. 'Man of peace.' What a prick. Good riddance dubya.

Obama's promise to hold talks with Iran signals a new approach and a new era. Bring it on.

Yep, talk always wins in the long term. There's no way you can shoot shoot people (even terrorists) into democracy, you can never tell where to start and you'd soon run out of bullets.

I love how he seems more upset about using phrases that make him look like he wasn't a man of the peace than the fact that he lied to start the war, had absolutely no plan, and then spent the next five years denying that he was lying. I think that even if he were impeached, he would be found not guilty by reason of insanity. The worst president in the history of the US.

Dubya is a disgrace to America (I'm not American myself). I'm thinking of a way to celebrate on his last day in office (Jan.20, 2009, remember it ppl, after this day, Dubya is gone for good).

Only its not about winning them over to democracy, its about forcing them into the new world order.

Jay, here's a little test for you.
See if you can weave your paranoid madness into the following current affairs stories:

- Barack Obama wins the Dem nomination
- House prices in the UK falling faster than any time in past 30 years
- Donald Trump visits his mother's old home in Stornoway, Scotland

and... GO!

Although not true in the Uk. The IRA got to the peace table by killing innocent civilians -it did work for them in the end.

Barack Obama is going to continue to perpetuate the current plunge in real estate values by earthquaking every first world country, except for Scotland, where the lizardmen/corporate overlords are going to buy a shit ton of land and sell it for a tidy profit. Do I win?
