What is Michael Moore thinking?

Michael Moore is making a sequel to Fahrenheit 911. But buzz is that it is a 911 conspiracy/truth movie. Has anyone heard of this, and is this not the dumbest move of his career?

This link just announces the sequel.

But this is Moore asking about the video of the "plane" hitting the Pentegon.

Thoughts please.

Simply put, it's Michael Moore, the stupid America-hating (yes I said it, get over it) fat-ass hypocrite. What more (or less) would you expect from the likes of him?

Judging from previous experiences, about the same as from any other american in the movie business.

Can someone answer the question? Why haven't we seen footage of the plane hitting the Pentagon? Because it wasn't a plane

You're right, it wasn't a plane, it was a jet.

The FBI confiscated 54 tapes from local businesses. Security cameras and the likes that were pointed in the direction of the pentagon, or the sky over it. And yeah it probably was a missle. That's a no-brainer.

But isn't this career suicide for Moore, whether he is right or wrong. I do think his films are supremely biased, though I enjoy them(didn't really enjoy the message of BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE though). But it seems this is just a crazy-dumb move, if it is a truth flick.

I don't think he is America hating. I just think he is in a position to voice his opinions over ours. He is just political thats all.

Besides he isn't all that bad. He did make CANADIAN BACON.

My thoughts? Anyone who would risk his/her career to get the truth out is ok in my book. (and I used to hate M Moore when I was drinking the GOP kool-aid)

For someone that is pretty much a self-professed America hater, I find your usual blatant sarcasm annoying at best in this case.

I don't hate america. I love your country, i've travelled in it and loved the landscape and the people. Most of 'em. And i have many american friends.
When you accuse me of 'hating america', what america are you talking about?

I was! I still don't get it.
in his films, fatass has, i believe, taken on:
the Ford Motor Company
the pro-gun lobby
privatised healthcare
the bush administration's foreign policy

whatever you think of his films, are any of those things enough to get yourself labelled an america-hater? Haven't you guys got enough problems with bin laden and his buddies who actually DO hate america without attacking anyone who disagrees with the way parts of your country are run?

Word. America, love it or fix it......

I can't fault him for using his "propaganda" to try and make this a better place.

I disagree with your wording. I'd say, "show that you love it by trying to fix it." Calling people who are expressing how they think we could improve our country "America-haters" is rather unpatriotic, I'd say. "Get over yourself," I would also say to them.

I'm sure Jay will find a way to say this isn't true but I'll post it anyway in regards to the plane that hit the Pentagon.

The plane vaporized for the most part but we did find debris

Careful friend, Jay isn't the only loon on CC. Actually, I think that the idea of two jets vaporizing is silly too. The engines alone were 12tons a piece and made of Titanium. Of millions of plane crashes, the only times ever in the history of aviation that a plane ever vaporized was on 911. And it happened twice. I just can't fathom how kerosene would vaporize a jet. Twice.

And the reason the pentagon won't release the footage(other than 3 frames) is that it is a matter of national security. But I don't understand how it is either. All the data on the damage is public, so I don't get it either.

Whatever Michael Moore is thinking, we can rest assured that he is a paradigm of objectivity and reason. An Enlightenment Man, if you will.
