I really, really, really want to say that this is just ridiculous, and that it couldn't happen in the current political climate. but... I don't know anything anymore. If I were religious, I'd be praying, but unfortunately I don't have that comfort. Oh well. I just need something to do while I wait for the world to end.

Of course the possibility of bombing Iran by August exists. You make a big leap by trying to say he won't leave office though. I personally think it's more of a reality that Israel would do it.

Whilst I'm not recommending anybody visits the site in question as its clearly not safe for anything americanbukkake.com has a "This site may not be for me - EXIT" link which redirects to christopherreeve.com - genius!

Whilst I appreciate this does imply that before reading heavys post I didn't know what Bukkake was I don't think that's a bad thing.

To stay roughly on topic. This is so totally going to happen, I just know it, armageddon here we come.

Now, I DON'T believe the story you referenced, BUT, Bush has been said to be an "end timer" Christian.... that is among those who do believe we should be taking steps to fulfill the prophecies foretold as beginning the end of time. They finance Jews to return to Israel, for example ... and some other things. All steps much more subtle than above.

i DO believe that his religious beliefs influenced action taken in Iraq ... but so did his oil interests.

Bush has said god told him to attack iraq - because god obviously works for halliburton.

Firstly, unless Bush declares martial law (PDD 51, John Warner Defense Inititive), there is no way he can strike Iran. The American public would shit a brick. Both Russia and China have an open allience with Iran for just that purpose. The day that the allience went public, Mr. Bush went to Russia to speak with Putin, but Putin gave him the middle finger. That means any attack will start WWIII. So unless there is another 'terrorist attack,' we won't bomb Iran. But will another attack happen? Ask Gary Hart.
