Ron Paul No Matter What!

I am voting Ron Paul no matter what. Anybody else?

Just can't see voting in NeoCons and Communists into the White House anymore.

And for those of you planning on voting for Obama, he said something that got my attention while he was visiting my hometown.

Obama says things that are quite attractive to Ron Paul voters and towards people that wish an exit to the war in Iraq, but than he says stuff like getting out of Iraq and going into Dafur!

So, with Obama, I am afraid we will be exchanging the war in Iraq for another humanitarian/peacekeeping war in Dafur! Think about that!

So, as of right now, I am voting Ron Paul No Matter What!

See, I wouldn't mind going into Darfur because this would be an actual good conflict, would likely not be unilateral, and would not destabilize Sudan (mostly because it's already pretty unstable). Also, it wouldn't be in the interests of Obama at all, except that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you do something good.

And how much you want to bet that people are going to be saying we did something wrong again?

Not saying that going in there would be a bad thing per say, just that there will probably be people saying we had no right going in there or some such (usually is).

thats probably going to be a far smaller crowd of people in that case, especially given a number of the people who likely would make those statements, probably are in peer groups with human rights activists if they arent ones themselves. I personally dont think getting involved with Darfur would be negatively viewed if it wasnt done in concert with everyone else.

theres something for everyone...US gets a bit of a rep as someone who fights for virtues held important without a whole of other strategic value. The people who hate the UN can cite how the US were able to something the UN and African Union couldnt really do, and the people who just want the killing to stop likely cant have a complaint as the killing probably would begin to curb if not stop.

Oh, I would bet my entire life savings that there would be people saying that we shouldn't go into Sudan to help with Darfur. However, provided that we handle it sensitively and professionally, not like Bush's policy of "I am the United States and as such I can do anything I want and just try to stop me," then it should be the usual crowd that's clearly in the minority, and funny thing about republics is that the minority almost never gets what it wants. Especially when it's an uneducated and disorganized minority.

Should I shoot myself before or after Ron Paul becomes the 44th President of the United States?
